About Gloria
I bring lots of experience with making and learning from mistakes to my work, and a deep understanding that we can have power to grow, change, and heal. As a lifelong teacher, long-term mindfulness practitioner, mom of grown kids, and (always) a learner, I offer tools and practices from my direct experience that I personally trust to be deeply practical, transformative, and supportive.
My education includes a B. S. in environmental studies and education and a M. Ed. in education; mindfulness teacher training and certification through Mindful Schools; many years of personal mindfulness studies; and, most importantly, the wisdom accumulated through my own journey. I am fascinated with spiritual development, embodiment practices, self-compassion, transforming colonial/patriarchal/racist cultural patterns through inner and outer work, building loving community, and so much more. If you're struggling, I am here to offer support, insight, shortcuts, and a trail map that offers some shortcuts that I've uncovered on my own long and evolving path. It really can get easier. |
