Wednesdays, 7-8:30 pm, March 6-April 10, $150/6-week series
To pay attention to the present moment without judgment sounds simple, but can be tricky to do! In this series, we turn our attention to deepening the most basic mindfulness practices, not by using fancy techniques but by practicing awareness. We cultivate awareness of our bodies, emotions, and thoughts with curious, non-judging attention.
This ongoing group is open to continuing students and new students with an established personal practice.
Mindfulness Meditation Workshop
at the Middletown Library
Thursday, March 7, 6:30-7:30 pm. Register here.
Are you interested in mindfulness? It's a wonderful practice that helps us to connect with the present moment, on purpose, and with curiosity.
Join us to learn the basics and try it! We will begin with a brief introduction to what it is, then try a range of practices including being aware of our senses, mindful breathing, a movement, and relaxation. Everyone can do it, not just people who are naturally calm or still. In fact, it may be most helpful for those who are struggling with stress, big feelings, and impulsivity.
For adults, all are welcome must register at link above.
