Mindful parenting is not going to help you get rid of your emotions or change your child's emotions, but it can help you to relate to emotions in healthy ways.
In this series, learn and practice basic mindfulness and apply that mindfulness to emotions. Read more. Care for your own feelings when they come up. Let go of the pressure to control your feelings and focus instead on making wise choices when you have big feelings. Make peace with your child's feelings, even the uncomfortable ones. Learn how to handle your child's feelings without either fighting against them or being controlled by them.
ATTACHMENT & CONNECTION

Human beings thrive on loving connection. In this series for new and continuing students, explore the importance of connected parenting at every age and learn how to build a strong and healthy attachment with your child. At the same time, get comfortable with the boundaries that are central to healthy connection because this kind of parenting is not permissive!
Consider your own attachment and connection needs, too, and learn how to develop and deepen a loving connection with yourself using mindfulness-based self-care practices.
